Slide Seal – Low-temperature Quick Sample Change Method

Components

A complete set of “low-temperature quick sample change” solutions includes the following parts:

Probe Modification & SlideSeal Component

PN.

·Sleeve·Replacement Chamber + Gate Valve

PN.

Air System

PN.

➡ A thin-walled stainless steel sleeve needs to be added to the probe;

➡ Adding a sliding seal assembly to ensure that the probe does not break the vacuum during vertical movement;

➡ Consists of sleeve and gate valve;

➡ The plate valve is used to isolate the vacuum chamber and the atmosphere;

➡ The sleeve is used to serve as an air washing chamber for quick insertion and extraction of the probe;

➡ The process of pumping and inflating is controlled by the vacuum valve;

Working Principle & Operation Process

The Probe And Slide Seal Assembly Have Been Assembled Before Delivery

1.Probe Installation

➡ Close the gate valve;

➡ Install the probe, and install the sliding parts and sleeve together;

2.Gas Washing Operation

➡ Close all valves (A, B, C, D);

➡ Turn on the vacuum pump, open valve-D, valve-B, and valve-A in sequence. Pump out the air to a value less than the rated value;

➡ Close valve-D, open valve-C and fill Helium to about 0.5 atm;

➡ Close valve -C, open valve -D, and pump out the gas to less than the rated value;

➡ Repeat steps 3-4 to complete the gas washing;

3.Put It Into The Cryogenic Chamber

➡ Close valve-D, valve-B, valve-A in turn, and close the vacuum pump;

➡ Open gate valve and install the probe into the cryogenic chamber;
